What you need to know.

24 hour waiting period: Florida law requires two (2) in-person appointments at least 24 hours apart before obtaining an abortion, whether it be medication or procedural.
‍
6 week ban in effect: As of May 1, 2024, restrictions exist with respect to people’s ability to lawfully access abortion in Florida after 6 weeks of gestation.

Minors: If you are a minor, Florida law requires either parental/ guardian notification and consent or judicial bypass, which is obtained through a circuit court. Out-of-state: If you are seeking an abortion in Florida due to restrictions in your state but are not a Florida resident, please visit the National Network of Abortion Funds and INeedanA to see if there may be assistance available to you closer to where you live.

WEN provides financial assistance for abortion care and contraception directly through our partner clinics.

 If you need help covering the cost of your abortion or contraception, please let the clinic where you’ll be seen know right away. Clinic staff may ask you a few questions to determine eligibility and will reach out to us directly.
